Work of the organization
The focus thus far has been on preparing young detainees at the Youth Training Center ( YTC) the detention facility for young offenders, for the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) examinations through the efforts of Debbie Jacob.
This project, which is partially funded by the National Gas Company (NGC) of Trinidad and Tobago, is now in it's fifth year. Though limited in scope, it has been far reaching in results, motivational benefits and in developing links with the management of the YTC. It has provided the opportunity to identify problems faced by the lads and has created a platform for expanding the scope of what needs to be done including programmes to facilitate the transitional period as they return to society.
